- Choose your route carefully
- Plan your run in cooler time of the day
- Decide your run strategy
- Dress for the climate
- Team up for safety
- Eat no later than an hour before the start
- Sleep well before the run
- Keep hydrating
- Prepare your mind as well as your body
- Stop! if you feel uncomfortable
- Track your run using any GPS based tracker or mobile app
- Make sure your GPS setting is on
- Share your results on the link provided
- Take advantage of the time flexibility
- Maintain social distancing if you are running in a group
- Warm up & stretch before the run
- Don't forget about fueling
- Don't run in unsafe conditions
- Don't run if you have a health issue
- Don't run if you are under any medical conditions
- Don't run without practice
- Don't get hung up on your finish time
- Don't overhydrate while running, it may lead to stomach cramps
- Don't run on an empty stomach.
